We provided mooring analysis, preliminary and final marine structural analysis and design, permitting and construction inspection services for this project.<\/p>\n<p>We coordinated with the client and the architect to bring their conceptualized idea to fruition with practical engineering practices. We designed mooring of three barges in a \u201cU\u201d shape configuration, as well as barge spud wells and piles to moor the barges. Steel framing to support the hammocks was also designed. Our team studied the utilization of gangways during tide fluctuations and determined the tidal envelope for gangway use.
